My favorite time of day is breakfast, lunch, dinner and every bite in between.

The best place to enjoy a good meal is standing at the knees of whoever happens to be eating in my vicinity and begging for as many bites as I can get. My preferred highchair eating position however, is with my mouth wide open and my arms stretched straight out to the sides, keeping my hands far out of the way. I've heard that most kids my age like to be a little more hands on with their food. Not me; my goal is to find the maximum payoff for the least amount of exertion possible. Mommy's great with a spoon. She shovels it in with pretty impressive accuracy. She keeps trying to get me to learn to do it myself, but I want nothing to do with utensils. Why mess with a good method? I mean, the ultimate goal here is to fill my tummy, right?

Sometimes, Mommy puts finger foods on my tray for me. I open my mouth when she does and lean in, in hopes that she'll eliminate the middle step and just plop it in there instead. She doesn't. I usually end up having to pick it up and feed myself. "Sigh."
