Berkshire Idols

I went to my first live concert tonight and all I've got to say is wow! All that singing and dancing and hand clapping ... baby got the beat. I clapped along, moved to the music and even sung a few notes here and there. I waved and flirted with the people sitting behind me and played with the little girl in front. I tried to pull her hair, but that was all in fun. What I didn't do was cry or get upset at all. And why would I? I was too busy groovin' to the music! Alas, all that clappin' and swingin' tuckered me out and I passed out cold before the whole thing was over. You wouldn't think you could sleep through a loud drums and wild guitar playing, but I had no problems. I slept right through to the end of the results and everything. If I would have stayed awake, I would have seen Tina win 2nd place in the 10-15 year old division. She's the reason we were there, to show our support. Tina has a great voice. If I knew she could sing like that, I never would have screamed bloody murder when she tried to hold me a few weeks ago. Anyway Yay for Tina! And Yay for live music! And a special Yay for Mommy for dragging me to all of those concerts while I was just a wee thing in the womb. Music appreciation, you've got to start young!
