Sorry snaky, no rabbit stew for you.

Today we rescued a baby rabbit from the clutches of an evil black snake. Well, he wasn't about to attack jaws open or anything, but we did find the furry little guy frightened and all alone in a snake "hot spot" by the side of our house. And then, soon afterwards we did see a slithering serpent in the vicinity, probably on the lookout for its next meal. Pop Pop took the baby rabbit to safety on the back porch and Mommy made some phone calls and found a wildlife rehabilitator who will help to make him big and strong, and then release him back to the wild.
