After a lot of practice, I have finally managed to learn how to open all of the different kinds of doors in my house. Most doors are easy, I just pull down on the long handle and I'm in. The door to Grammom and Pop Pop's room slides into the wall. I didn't get that concept at first, but now its a breeze. The pantry door was a real challenge too. It has a little knob on it that I kept pulling on until I could finally get my fingers in the side to pull it open. What a great discovery that was. There's lots of neat stuff in there! The best doors of course are the ones that lead outside. I've had the most luck with the laundry room door. It doesn't lock at all and has one of those easy pull down handles. Once I'm in there, its just a matter of getting the door open to the garage. The problem is, other people tend to lock it to deter my escape. If Pop Pop is outside though, he can't lock it. So this morning, when he went out the door, I saw my opportunity. I quickly made my way to the laundry room, pulled on the unlocked handle and stumbled into the waiting garage. I fell on the little step, but I didn't cry. I had my mission and I was only a few feet away from the big open garage door that led outside. I stood up, but only made it a step or two before Mommy grabbed me and pulled me back inside. Rats! She has a way of spoiling my plans.
