I love moons. I've got pictures of them in lots of books. Every time I see one in I show Mommy. Sometimes I flip through the book just to find the moon to point it out. I know what the real moon looks like too. My Pop Pop showed me a long time ago, but its not always visible so its nice to have my backups.

My lips are sealed
I said "please" today, not once ... but five times! Don't ask me to repeat it though, cause I won't.

I prefer the original high five, but...
It took me awhile, but I have finally managed the correct technique for a fist bump.

Unexpected company
There's a lizard under my crib. Guess he's bunking down with us until the storm passes.

My great grandparents took me to Sea World today
Lucky me, Elmo and his friends were at Sea World today too! I really enjoyed the show, but waiting in line for five minutes to meet Elmo in person was too much for me. I fell asleep in Mommy's arms and refused to wake up. Mommy seemed excited enough for the both of us though.

I learned how to shake my head "No" recently and it has quickly become my favorite form of communication. Conversations usually go something like this:
"Spencer, give me a kiss" - shake my head NO while smiling
"Eat the rest of your breakfast" - shake my head NO as a spoon nears my mouth
"Do you want to go out?" - shake my head NO, quickly realize my mistake, stop shaking and throw my arms in the air and beg to be picked up.

Times, they are a changin'
It's been a bit unsettling here with all of the recent changes going on. With Aunt Stephanie, Josh and Becca visiting, the house is full of people, but not much else since almost everything has been moved out. It's no wonder that I've been stricken with a severe case of separation anxiety. With all of the work needing to be done, my Mommy hasn't been around as much as usual and quite frankly, I'm not too happy about it. In fact, I'm down right annoyed. Spending time with Aunt Stephanie and Becca is fun, but I still need my Mommy time. The worst part of it is that all of these new emotions are starting to affect my once stellar sleeping habits. I have a hard time falling asleep these days. I'm sure all that crying I'm doing in my crib doesn't help, but how else am I supposed to voice my objections?

Playing at the park
Mommy, Josh and I went to the park to hunt squirrels. We weren't shooting them or anything, just chasing 'em. The squirrels at home run away before I can even get a good luck at them, but these squirrels were different, they waited until I was just about to reach out and touch them before they ran and when they did run, they made a game of it and let me catch up before running again. Squirrels and I have a lot it common. We both like the park and to run and play games and eat gingersnaps. Yum, cookies! Josh fed them and Mommy fed me, so we all had a nice snack after our game of chase.
